Simply put, we believe the Bible. We use the Bible as our source of truth, and our guide for daily living. As a church family, we strive to adhere to the Word of God as closely as possible, since we believe it to be perfectly true. The following is to provide a summary of the church’s beliefs.

We believe the Bible to be the complete, inerrant Word of God. We believe the Bible was not only written by God, but also preserved by God.
Psalm 12:6-7; II Timothy 3:15-17; I Peter 1:23-25; II Peter 1:19-21
We believe there is one God who is perfect, eternal, and self-existent. He is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent.
Deuteronomy 6:4; I Timothy 1:17; James 1:17; I John 4:4
We believe Jesus Christ was born of a virgin as God the Incarnate to become the Savior of mankind. He was both God and man at the same time. We believe He lived a perfect, sinless life so He could become a substitutionary sacrifice for man’s sin. Through His death and shedding of His blood on the cross and resurrection, He satisfied man’s sin debt so that it is possible for man to enter into Heaven.
Isaiah 7:14, 9:6, 43:11; Matthew 1:25; Luke 1:26-35; John 1:1, 1:3, 14, 18, 29; Romans 3:19-25; Romans 5:6-15; Philippians 2:5-11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; I Timothy 2:5; I Timothy 3:16; Titus 2:10-15; Hebrews 7:26, 9:24-28; I Peter 1:19; I John 1:3
We believe the Holy Spirit is also part of the Godhead. He took on a special ministry role at Pentecost which includes convicting us of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit was sent to regenerate, sanctify, seal, and fill those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ.
John 3:5-6; John 14:16; Acts 11:15; I Corinthians 3:16; I Corinthians 6:19-20; I Corinthians 12:13
We believe we are all born sinners. We believe because of this sinful nature, we choose to commit sin, and are in need of a Savior. Jesus Christ lived a perfect and sinless life and became our substitute by giving His life on the cross as a payment for our sins. Those who accept Christ’s gift of salvation are delivered from an eternity in the Lake of Fire. Those who reject Christ are condemned to spend an eternity apart from Christ in the Lake of Fire.
Acts 16:31; Romans 3:10-23; Romans 5:6-12; Romans 6:23; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-6; Revelation 20:11-14
We believe the only way to heaven is by faith in Christ alone. Not by the good things we do, not by baptism, not by acting religiously, but by admitting you are a sinner, believing Jesus died and rose again to save you from your sins, and asking God to save you.
